RAVEN
Raven Records was an Australian independent record label established in 1979 by music historian and journalist Glenn A. Baker, together with Kevin Mueller and Peter Shillito. Unlike most independent labels of the period, Raven was created primarily to recover, document and reissue recordings from the past rather than to develop contemporary performers. It went on to become one of Australia's longest-running and most highly regarded specialist reissue labels before ceasing operations in April 2017, after thirty-eight years.
Insofar as Beatles LPs, only two were released on the Raven imprint: The Beatles Talk Downunder (1981); and, The Beatles Talk Downunder (And All Over) Vol 2 (1984).
Only one label pair per title is displayed on this page. Label variations for a given record can be found on its corresponding LP page (accessible via the main 'LPs' menu, above).
