Backed by regional television interests and led by former K-tel executives, Telmak Teleproducts became one of Australia’s most recognisable television-marketing companies of the 1980s. Its record catalogue ranged from licensed compilations and Australian productions to novelty releases and controversial re-recordings of contemporary hits—and included one particularly memorable Beatles album.
